About

Built around Nigerian converters, not a distant trading screen.

WB Adekunle Power Polymer Nigeria Limited is an active industrial importer of polymer raw materials. We are one of the larger importers and distributors of plastic resins in Nigeria, and we have been in this trade since 1999.

The business

Plastic converters in Nigeria live on continuity of supply. A blown-film line, a crate mould or a bottle machine cannot wait three weeks for a missing melt-flow. Our role is to import virgin polymer from global producers, hold it in Ibadan, and put the right grade on a truck or at the warehouse gate.

We deal in film, injection and blow-moulding grades across polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC, PET, polystyrene and the additive packages that sit beside them. Customers are packaging plants, housewares moulders, pipe extruders, raffia weavers and blow-moulding shops — from small family units to industrial processors.

The warehouse sits on the Oluyole industrial corridor in Ibadan, Oyo State. From there we serve the Southwest directly and ship onward to the Lagos, Kano, Aba and Onitsha processing clusters.

Founder

WB Adekunle Power Polymer Nigeria Limited was founded by Adekunle Waheed. He started the polymer business in 1999, at a time when Nigerian converters were already dependent on imported resin and needed a local counterpart who understood both mill specifications and shop-floor reality.

The company still reflects that founding idea: keep relationships with global producers, keep inventory where manufacturers can inspect it, and specify grades by process — film, injection or blow — rather than by a generic product name.

Timeline

More than 27 years in polymer distribution.

  1. 1999

    Company founded

Adekunle Waheed establishes the business as an importer and distributor of plastics raw materials for Nigerian processors.

  2. 2000s

    Southwest distribution

Supply relationships deepen with film and moulding plants across Ibadan and the wider Southwest, with onward movement into Lagos.

  3. Warehouse

    Ibadan stockholding

Covered storage, lot-wise stacking and a blending mixer allow customers to collect bagged resin or take mixed lots without a full-container wait.

  4. Today

    Full polymer slate

HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, PP (homo, copo and random), PVC, PET, PS/GPPS/HIPS and additives, sourced from mills in Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Europe and the USA.

How we trade

What converters can expect.

Grade matching

We ask for process, MFI, density and end use before we quote. A film LLDPE is not an injection HDPE, and a raffia PP is not a random bottle grade.

Visible inventory

Stock is in Ibadan. Buyers can inspect bags, mill marks and lot numbers rather than buying a description on a screen.

Mill origins

Sasol, ExxonMobil, SABIC, Dow, Lotrene, Indorama Eleme, Marlex, Cynpol and the other mills on our brands page are part of the regular supply set.

Practical support

Blown-film lines on site help us speak to processability, not only paperwork. Additives can travel with the resin so a formulation arrives together.

Who we serve

Our customers convert resin into packaging, housewares, building products and industrial parts. Typical plants include:

  • Blown-film and shopping-bag converters
  • Sachet-water and shrink-film extruders
  • Injection moulders of crates, chairs, pails and caps
  • Blow moulders of bottles, jerrycans and drums
  • Pipe, profile and raffia/tape extruders
  • PET bottle and thermoforming plants
Film extrusion winding stations
